About

tiny’s is a sourcebook for small spaced living

Finding the perfect pieces to furnish your home is a big task, but throw in pint-sized proportions, compact spaces and narrow doorways and the challenge takes on new meaning.

Having wasted days (maybe weeks) searching for furniture that didn’t completely overwhelm our already limited space, we decided there needed to be a dedicated resource for small space dwellers. We want to cut through the hundreds of three seater sofas you wish would fit in your ‘living room’ and help you discover the best small space furniture the web has to offer.

You can expect your favourite retailers to feature in our edits, but we also want to showcase some awesome independent brands, specifically creating beautiful products for those living in less.

How small is small?

More and more of us are living in smaller spaces. The average UK one-bedroom home is 46 sqm, according to Riba, that’s just 6.8m x 6.8m (and that’s just the average). Everyone’s interpretation of ‘small space’ living is different. For some, it will be a box room in a flat share, a studio space above a kebab shop or even a '2 bed, kitchen/diner' if you’ve just downsized. Regardless of interpretation, everyone deserves to live well in the space they have, and it’s our mission to help make that happen.

One small step….

We are at the very beginning of our journey; today you can expect a curated selection of small space edits hand picked by the tiny’s team. We’ve scoured the web and spent an unacceptable amount of time in showrooms (with no intent on buying) to find the finest selection of sofas, beds, tables and storage options to solve a variety of small space problems. We’ve sat, laid and mused over thousands of pieces of furniture, so you don’t have to.

Over time we hope to grow this into a search engine for small spaces, helping you find exactly what you are looking for in a couple of clicks.

Can’t find what you are looking for?

If you’ve found us, chances are you have a small space dilemma you are trying to solve. If you are hunting for something specific, but can’t find it in one of our edits, get in touch. We spend A lot of time window shopping so we might be able to speed up your search.
